Privacy

What we collect

• When you join: your name, email, country and the circles you choose, plus your phone number, postal address, favorite work and photo if you choose to give them.
• If you request a printed card: the address you want it posted to.
• If the team asks you a question: your answer.

Why we collect it

• To confirm your email, review your membership, issue your numbered card and post it to you if you ask.
• To connect you with members who share your circles. We never sell your details, and we don't use them for advertising.
• We rely on your consent when you join, which you can withdraw at any time by leaving the club.

Where it is stored

• Member records and photos are stored with Upstash, our database provider. Emails are sent through Resend. Your photo is resized and stripped of its location and camera data before it is stored.

Cookies and other services

• We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Signing in to the Members' Room or the team's admin area sets one cookie that keeps you signed in, and your browser remembers whether you have seen the club invitation.
• Trailers play through YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may process your address when one plays. If the bot check on the join form is on, it runs through Cloudflare Turnstile.

How long we keep it

• If you never confirm your email, your photo is deleted after 48 hours and nothing else is saved.
• Your postal address for the printed card is deleted once the card is posted. We keep only the country, for our records.
• If you leave, your member record, photo, card and messages are deleted at once. We keep one marker with the time you left, so an old confirmation link can't add you back. Notices the team already received by email stay in its inbox until the team clears them.

Who sees it

• Only the team that runs the club can see member details, and only to run the club.

Age

• You need to be 16 or older to join.

How to leave

• Every email from the club has a link to leave. It works at any time and deletes your member record at once.

Your rights

• You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
